Analysis of interactive content tweeted by info_NICHOLAS49
Looking at his two tweets one about Microsoft and the other about the Orioles beating the Reds, both of these tweets are poor examples of interactive content because you cannot engage with the content, there is not anywhere you can post comments on the links provided in his tweets or audio visuals there is very little minimum activity.

I am arguing for the negative facts of technology in the classroom particularly the distractions. In the article that I researched "education week 8/21/2013 Vol.33 Issue 1, special section p6-6 by Kyle Redford" I found that a group of students were giving a task to complete during class on a iPad, however the task was not complete due to distractions of the internet access on the iPad. The Author states "Daniel Willingham, a cognitive scientist from the University Of Virginia, recently did a survey of the research looking at the learning benefits of technology in the classroom considering this is relatively new territory, it is not surprising that the conclusion raised more questions than they answered". Education week. Another article that helps explain my argument is Negative Effects by Julia Klaus. This article states "Some negative effects of technology in today's classroom are that it can take away valuable learning time, it can be overused, and it can also turn educational experiences into games for students". In classrooms today, teachers are very pressed about their class time and the teacher is dealing with students that are on different learning levels and take more time. If they are not educated technologically, one can be wasting there time and the students'. Even though it is important as a teacher to educate these students in technology it must be done at a different pace so that each student has equal learning time. Based on these two articles, I have learned that technology is a good tool but it is mostly a distraction in classrooms today because of the extra things such as video games, and internet access. It is ok to use technology as a source in the classroom but it should not be the main source, most students learn better and understands more when the task is explained to them physically. Some other negative effects from technology in the class room is video games, messaging and more that attracts a lot of attention from students. From the negative effects in technology we can learn that students will perform better in the classroom without laptops, iPads, etc. and that it will also strengthen there minds because there will be little to no cheating at all, students will actually have to have notes on paper to study.
